That means the water is leaving the nozzle at more than 900 miles per hour.

The waterjet accelerates the abrasives mixed with water to form a satin smooth edge and very accurate cut. The water jet provides a cut free from flaw on glass, stone, and materials reinforced with fiber.

Unlike other metal cutters the waterjet does not get dull and it cannot over heat so this makes it ideal for most industrial cutting applications. There is not need for time consuming pre drilling.
